Using The Confidant Documenter Kit With Kelly Noel

Tags:

Hello, SC friends! The Confidant kit is filled with gorgeous colors. I really love the touches of deeper colors this month, like the pop of purple and red! I'm still filling in some missing pages and spreads from last year, so when I came across these photos from last May (don't mind my mistake on the date there!), I knew they'd be perfect for using with this kit. A couple of my photos had touches of red and pink and purple, so they were a perfect match! A few of the photos from my week clashed, so I just turned them to black and white in Photoshop.

I love to use a mixture of full 3" x 4" photos and smaller photos. For this layout, I used two 3" x 4" photos and two 3" x 2" photos. The 3" x 2" photos are perfect for when you want to add some journaling ("just be cool") or highlight an embellishment or phrase (heart with "here"). The little banners in this month's kit were so much fun, so I used a couple of them here with my photos. "Cutie" was already printed on one of the labels, but I added some words with my printer for the "fun with my girls" banner. I love that they are customizable—you could add your own handwriting to them as well.

My favorite item from this month's kit are the hexagon stickers! They are so colorful and fun, and I'm a huge fan of hexagons or any geometric shape. I adore Jasmine's handwriting on the "see the good & speak it" card, so I added some of the hexagon stickers in a pattern in two of the corners of the card to dress it up. It acts as a great focal point for my page.

I hope you're inspired to pull out your Confidant Documenter kit and document the great everyday moments in your life!
