Video | Using the Written in the Stars Kits with Jamie Waters

Hi, everyone! Thanks so much for joining me today on the Studio Calico blog. Written in the Stars has so many fun elements, and I couldn't help but use tons of the stars and hearts all in one project! I have had my heart set on using the specialty paper without cutting it up and I like how this turned out.

In the video you will see how I use the specialty paper as my main element, and how I use a tiny, blurry, otherwise un-scrappable photo as my image for this layout!

I love how it turned out. I think the pop of hot pink card stock really grounds this layout well. Since it's larger than a page protector, I could see hanging this directly on my wall! I like how the bold elements just pop off the page.
