Our Layout of the Week, Mom, comes from our member Pam (username PamBaldwin). Pam's designs never cease to amaze us, and this layout is no exception! Her gorgeous use of circles inspired by a sketch from our Summer of Sketches 2017 class stood out in the gallery! Here's what Pam has to say about her project:

It felt like ages since I had scrapbooked when I sat down to work on this layout, and for a moment, I seriously felt like maybe I had forgotten how to do it (ha!). Here are a few things that helped me get back in the game: 1) I started with the story. I was inspired by the products in Ali Edwards' May digital kit to do a page about my mom. I love having this collection of words and photos down on paper. 2) Summer of Sketches! I used one of the sketches from week 2 of the class (by Catherine Davis, always AMAZING!) as my jumping off point to make my story look pretty. Sometimes just getting started is the hardest part, and I'm so thankful for the many forms of inspiration here at Studio Calico.
