This week our scrapbook sketch is a 8.5" x 11" layout featuring a large circle photo and a centered design. Our card sketch also has a large circle element front and center. And our pocket page sketch features a two 4" x 6" embellished photos. Creative Team member Kelly Noel is joining us this week and sharing her take on the week's scrapbook sketch! Be sure to follow Kelly here at SC to see more of her work and keep up with her.
Our scrapbook sketch comes from Anna-Maria Wolniak's You Can't Even Imagine layout:

Our card sketch comes from Carson Riutta's I'd Pick Pink card:

And our pocket page sketch comes from Carson Riutta's Alfresco Doc Main page:

And here's Kelly's take on our scrapbook sketch:
I was drawn to the sketch of Anna-Maria's layout immediately. I love the simple, graphic design and I'm always a fan of circles! I chose this photo of my son, Brady, and my niece who share a birthday. It's a story I've documented before, but I love that this was the 10th birthday that they've shared together—it felt like a big deal this year. I printed my photo a little larger than I originally wanted to so I altered the design just a bit by placing my title and journaling directly underneath the photo.

I layered the pink paper on top of this month's gorgeous floral specialty paper and placed both pieces onto a piece of white cardstock to border the layout. To finish the layout, I added a few simple embellishments—washi tape, an ampersand ticket and three copper asterisks.

Now it's your turn! Make a project using one of this week's sketches as a starting point, then share it in the Studio Calico gallery. Use the hashtag #SCsketch to make it easier for other members to find! Leave us a link to your project by June 26th in the comments here to be entered to win a $5 gift card to Studio Calico Shop. This week's sketch winner will be announced in the July 1st Layout of the Week post.

I used the circular photo on the scrapbook sketch as the inspiration for this layout.

Ugh, life kept me so busy this week I didn't have time to have fun with the scrapbook sketch until the very last minute. https://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/204437-sparkle-sunday-sketch

I used the scrapbook sketch for a Traveler's Notebook spread - I used the top half of the sketch for the left side, and the bottom half for the right side.
