Our Layout of the Week, Summer, comes from our member Aimee (username Adow). We love Aimee's use of layered patterned paper strips and clustered embellishments! To keep up with Aimee and see more of her work, be sure to follow her here at SC.

Here's what Aimee has to say about her project:

The layout Summer was inspired by an iNSD sketch and all those amazing photos you see on Instagram in front of brightly colored beach shacks. We live NOWHERE near the beach, so I decided to replicate the look with pattern paper strips. I choose pinks, greens and blues for the color pallet to really help my photos pop but, I think it also helps that I have such a photogenic bubba. I used a metallic thicker and a few bronze sequins to add a little girly chic. I finished off by sewing a few random strips and a boarder—that’s really all it took.
