Using the Been & Gone Scrapbook Kit with Catherine Davis

Tags:

Today I wanted to share a project I made to illustrate how to add movement to your projects. Using the Been & Gone Kits, I started with a patterned paper with a small arrow design. Arrows instantly add a sense of direction to the page.

I cut up a complimentary gray paper into 3" squares and layered them as a base to build my design from. I added more arrows with rainbow stickers towards my image. This helps define the focal point of the page. Plus, placing the arrows in opposite direction helps add movement, as well.

Using the script alphabet stamp and "Clean Slate" Color Theory pigment ink, I repeated the word "love" in a pretty haphazard fashion. I wasn't about the word as much as adding depth and variations of color. Any repetition creates movement, as well.

I hope you found these tips helpful and please don't hesitate to ask any questions below. If you create any projects with movement, tag me in your gallery post!
