Here's what Erin has to say about her project:

I look forward to the Studio Calico Summer of Sketches class every year, and this year's group of designers is amazing! I pulled out these photos of my son and our friends at the pool and wanted to create a layout, but didn't have a ton of time to fiddle with page design. Sketches take the guesswork out of page design and instead, I can play with fun papers and embellishments! The Summer of Sketches stamp set is getting a ton of use from me, and I was inspired by the class video to create a fun polka dot background with the solid and patterned circle stamps. I also had a chance to use gold foil thickers that I've had in my stash for years on this layout—I love it when older product makes it onto my pages! Thank you for choosing my page as the Layout of the Week!
