Using the Let's Go Kits with Carson Riutta

So sadly, fall hasn’t arrived in North Carolina just yet, but this mama is ready to welcome it with open arms! I love the Halloween add-on, "In the Spirit," but I don’t have any Halloween photos to scrap so I decided to create a fun and festive fall card with those beautiful supplies instead. Creating cards with supplies meant for scrapbooking is always a fun exercise in creativity and if you’re ever in a rut, I recommend it as a quick and easy way to get inspired again.

I love creating cards with alpha stickers, as you can really customize the sentiments to fit the space on the card and the mood you are trying to convey. It helps greatly when they are gorgeously scripted gold foil alpha stickers. I love a vertical card and often default to that format, and so being able to choose the word “Fall” instead of “Autumn” or “Halloween” allowed me to stick to my vertical preference. This card was completely inspired by the washi strips at the very end of the Pink Paislee washi tape book that came in the kit. The gold foil was stunning and the strips went together so well on the sheet that putting them beautifully together onto the card was a no-brainer.

After the washi strips were down, it was just a matter of building the sentiment using a mixture of the gold thickers, the small black alpha, and the stamp set that came in the kit. A few sequins and some star stamps later, and the card was complete! I adore a kit that is holiday themed but versatile enough to create non-holiday items and the "In the Spirit" add-on is just that—full of great Halloween supplies but with enough neutral items to create many fall projects, as well!

Thanks for reading today! Happy crafting!
