Sunday Sketch | Lisa Truesdell

This week our scrapbook sketch is a 12" x 12" layout featuring a circular design of embellishments with an offset photo and a large title in the middle of the page. Our card sketch has a central mirrored focal element and title with layered strips and embellishment in the bottom half of the page. And our pocket page sketch features a 3" x 4" card with three circular elements and a 3" x 4" photo card with a title on a banner. As soon as I saw the sketch based on Kelly's layout, I knew it would be perfect for all of the fun bits and pieces in the Starlight Scrapbook kit. In fact, it was so perfect that the only real change I made was to flip flop the photo placement over to the right side! I placed my photo, then drew a light pencil line to define where the circle would go on my page. From there, I just had fun using the die cut washi, stamp stickers, puffy asterisks and buttons to create a circular grouping. I love how this design keeps the focus right on my photo, even with all the fun colors and embellishments I added to the layout.
