Using October's Add-ons with Lisa Spangler

Hi there! Hope you're having a great fall! We've had some cooler weather here in Texas so I'm really getting in the autumn spirit! In today's post, I wanted to share my little trick for using stickers as the main elements on cards and envelopes.

I'll be using the stickers in the Hunter add-on by 1canoe2—love these so much! So many great icons in there. I can't wait to use that thermos. :)

So, are you ready for my lil' trick? It's actually pretty simple: simply adhere your sticker to chipboard and then cut it out. Then you can use foam tape to add it to your card and add dimension at the same time. Bonus!

For this card, I used the tag from the sticker sheet. It was super easy to trim out, and then I used a hole punch to re-add the hole up to the top.

To finish up the card I tied on some twine and added some leaves from the Leaf Stamp + Die set and then some enamel dots from the Hunter add-on.

I couldn't stop with just the card. I had to use the sticker set to fancy up the envelope too! I adhered a "real" postage stamp first, then added the faux postage stamps from the sticker set. The notepaper sticker with the little heart makes the perfect spot for the address.

I happen to have matching plaid washi and I'll use another postage stamp from the sticker set to go on the back of the envelope—love it when the card and envelope go together. I can't wait to send this off to my Dad.

Happy fall, y'all! – xo, Lisa
