Using the Gypsy Moon Kits with Anna-Maria Wolniak

Hi, guys! Today I want to share a brand new layout made using the "Gypsy Moon" Scrapbook Kit and the "Hunter" add-on. As I shared during October reveal, I'm in love with the pink puffy words from the "Hunter" add-on. (I'm in love with all the supplies from "Hunter"; I mean, did you see those awesome stickers?! And autumn stamp set?! Remarkable!) So, I've already made one layout inspired by the puffy word "thankful." This time, the word "journey" was the main feature of my composition.

I chose the photo of my "almost" daughter, Zosia (she's the sweetest!), which was taken this summer during the quick journey to Wales. She was tired, cold, and wanted to go home. She got her mother's hoodie and said she almost felt like she was at home. :)

Once again, I decided to make a simple project. I think bold embellishments look better on neutral backgrounds. So, on this layout, you won't find many patterns, bold contrasts, or a variety of colors. I use a white cardstock as my background with a pale pink strip of paper. I covered it with a piece of grid patterned paper and vellum, which is one of my favorite supplies. I use vellum very often in my work.

For the space between the pink patterned paper and the white background, I filled it in with a pattern builder stamp of tiny dots. I used "Glass Slipper" ink from Color Theory. At the bottom of the layout, I adhered a piece of ribbon from the "Hunter" add-on. As a finishing touch, I added white twine which was placed along the right side of the layout.
