Using the Gypsy Moon Scrapbook Kit with Catherine Davis

This layout was inspired by one of my images from Instagram Stories. So many great moments get captured there and disappear within a day. I’m always sure to download my posts to my camera roll to keep. These images are perfect for storytelling, especially since you have the ability to add captions, stickers, and emojis within the app. The tall, skinny size is interesting and fun to use, too.

To start this layout, I cut out strips of the "Gypsy Moon" Scrapbook Kit’s patterned papers equal to the width of my image. I wanted to create a bit of funky patchwork and was sure to use a mix of colors and designs. I used the sparkle emoji on my Story image and wanted to do something with this layout to tie them together. I cut out oversized sparkles with a yellow patterned paper and arranged them around the page. I tried to mimic the same placement I used on the image, and I popped them up with foam squares to add a bit of dimension.

To finish off the layout, I used one of the clear sentiments stickers with some journaling and alpha stickers.
