Holiday Crop | Reimagine Patterned Paper

Tis the season of paper crafting everything merry and bright! For some holiday fun, we're issuing ten festive challenges based on Creative Team projects. We hope you'll play along!

This challenge comes from CT member Carson Riutta based on her project, Merry & Bright.

It's been a little while since I've sat down to create a traditional Scrapbook LO, and man, was I happy to have this collection to ease me back into the process! The color palette is fabulous with the rich blue-greens and the softer pinks and greys. I love the large acetate words and the super fun wooden ornaments. I used the Christmas icon silkscreen to create the gifts along the bottom of the tree. And finally, I decided to hide my journaling behind the photo so as not to distract. Love it!

Patterned paper is so versatile—the possibilities are really endless with it! We love the way Carson used patterned paper in a big way here on this layout. For this challenge, use patterned paper as the main element of your project.

Let's see your project with patterned paper as the main focus for a chance to win a $10 GC to the Studio Calico shop! Your project can be holiday or non-holiday related. When you complete this challenge, upload it to the member gallery and leave a link to your project in the comments below. See all of our holiday challenges here.
