Holiday Crop | Repeat a Stamp

Tis the season of paper crafting everything merry and bright! For some holiday fun, we're issuing ten festive challenges based on Creative Team projects. We hope you'll play along!

This challenge comes from CT member Carson Riutta based on her project, Let's Get Together.

I absolutely loved working with the Making Spirits Bright bundle to create this documenter page! I started by choosing the red, pink, and teal journal cards from the collection and then decided to create a title using the fabulous Let's Get Festive silkscreen. I only used the top half of the phrase and used the alpha to create the rest of the title. I then stamped the snowflakes in "Brick House" ink across the spread to bring it all together. Such a fun process!

We love Carson's festive pocket page and the way she used the snowflake stamp to draw the viewer's eye around the page. Use a stamping to create a similar element on your project.

Let's see how you use a stamp set across your page for a chance to win a $10 GC to the Studio Calico shop! Your project can be holiday or non-holiday related. When you complete this challenge, upload it to the member gallery and leave a link to your project in the comments below. See all of our holiday challenges here.

I repeated a number of stamps: wreath, snowflakes, merry, trees and embossed all. I repeatedly used the 'details' stamp from Tina's Details class -- love that little stamp -- so crisp and clear!! https://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/208265-merry-merry-submission-for-grid-design-and-repeat-a-stamp-for-the-holiday-crop

I used the small thistle in this set to repeatedly stamp to create this wreath for my card. When using the Distress Oxide ink you get cool variations when misting part of the ink. It was so fun.https://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/208384-joy-wreath
