Sunday Sketch | Kelly Noel

This week our scrapbook sketch is a 9" x 12" layout featuring a centered square photo over a diagonal scattering of hexagon- and heart-shaped embellishments. Our card sketch has an organic stamped pattern on the upper left-hand side of the card with a sentiment in the opposite corner. And our pocket page sketch features a 3" x 4" filler card with journaling strips and a 3" x 4" photo with small embellishments. I love working with sketches, it's one of my favorite ways to get started on a page! I fell in love with the scrapbook sketch this week. Catherine always creates the most striking designs, so it was a no brainer to use her sketch. I used the "Northern Lights" Scrapbook Kit and a few pieces of the Arctic add-on kit to create this page.

I kept the main elements on my page the same as they were in the sketch. The title beneath the photo that was placed right in the center of the page. I scattered snowflakes and epoxy circles instead of the hexagons on Catherine's layout. I love the way this leads your eye across the page.
