Using the Northern Lights Scrapbook Kit with Catherine Davis

Tags:

Hello! Today I'm sharing a project to give you some inspiration for utilizing the 12" x 12" transparency paper from the "Northern Lights" Scrapbook Kit. A patterned transparency makes for a great layering tool. For this project, I was sure to use white cardstock as a base to help the designs on the transparency pop.

I used the rainbow paper at the top of the page because I liked the effect of a burst coming out of my image. I was sure to layer it behind the transparency so the designs continued to bubble up the page. I intentionally placed the end with more stars opposite the patterned paper to help balance the whole page.

I LOVE the transparency alpha tiles so much! I wanted to be sure to use them here to tie in the whole transparent vibe. I layered them across each other and used a small washi strip to adhere them to the page.

One item to note with our transparency products: they have a protective film on the front side, so be sure to peel it off before use to reveal the shiny goodness beneath.

If you have any questions about this project, be sure to comment below and I'd love to help!
