Guest Designer | Lindsay Bateman

Hello, everyone. I'm Lindsay Bateman and I live in a very small town in Northern Alberta, Canada. Currently, I'm a full-time stay-at-home mom to my three-year-old son, Madix, and seven-month-old daughter, Brynn. I've been married to my husband, Matthew, for 10 years this year. I began paper crafting when I was in University. Scrapbooking really helped me through some very challenging and lonely times back then and from that point on, it has evolved into this passion and love of mine. I really view scrapbooking as part of my lifestyle rather than a hobby because I truly make documenting a part of my everyday. Whether it's taking photos, creating in my planner, working in an album, or dreaming up future projects, one of these things will usually fall into my daily life somehow. My current favorite type of project to work on lately is definitely my memory planner. I've also been super inspired to get back into creating more traditional 12" x 12" scrapbook pages. I'm continuously inspired by all of the amazing paper crafting artists out there sharing their hearts and talents on social media. Instagram is my obsession—total and pure eye candy! I also love perusing Pinterest late at night! In my spare time, if I'm not paper crafting, I love to spend time with my family, enjoy some good ol' reality TV, or enjoy a good conversation with a friend. At the end of the day, I'm just a simple girl who loves to live a simple life.

February Main Kit Planner Spread – There were so many fun elements to pull my calendar spread together for the month of February. The heart stickers truly "stole my heart" this month and I could not resist using them everywhere! I also loved compiling the pie die-cuts into a mini page for my planner. Of all the things on my to-do list, my kids are number #1 and the die-cut pieces help tell that story perfectly.

February Main Planner Kit and Add-on – The stamps in the add-on, as well as the stickers from the main kit, were perfect additions for creating a visually inspiring yet practical dashboard page to get my month of February started on the right track! I loved using the washi tape from the main kit as it was full of bright colors and graphic design—the perfect finishing touch.
