Using The Birds and the Bees Planner Kit with Carla De Taboada

Hello, everyone! It’s Carla here, and today I’m going to share one of my planner spreads using the March Planner Kit and add-ons. The Birds and the Bees Kit is full of bright colors, floral prints, and the cutest stickers!

This spread is for the first week of March, so as it begins on Wednesday, I decided to use that extra space the first half of my week to add something fun!

I made a cute mini envelope using the floral paper from the Planner Kit that I’m using to keep my menu list for the week.

I embellished the outside of that little envelope using a circle stamp from the Home Improvement stamp set by Hello Forever, a banner that I cut out from another pattern paper, some vellum paper, and an “On The Menu” sticker from the Small Washi Strip Sticker Sheets by Hello Forever.

One of the things I love from this planner kit is that planner pocket! I just wanted it to match the rest of my spread a little better, so I used the digital Spring stamp set as a guide to cut my paper into a flower, and then embellished it using a cute tiny enamel dot from the embellishment pack by Dear Lizzy that comes in the Queen Bee add-on. And, as I love those little flowers so much, I cut a few of them to make my pocket even prettier.

And… what about a page marker? I used The Birds and the Bees Cut Files by In A Creative Bubble and played with it to make this butterfly pattern. I love to have a translucent page marker, so I can see through all my week at a glance.

Then, I used some alpha stickers from the Queen Bee add-on (the same ones I used to add "March" on my previous page) and other stickers from the planner kit.

For this planner spread, I used my number stickers to add the dates, and the numbers from the stamp set by One Little Bird to add the times of my appointments. I think this is a fun way to play more with your planner supplies! Another thing you have to be sure to check out are the printable labels! You can print them on sticker paper, cut them, and add more personality to your pages.

I hope I inspired you to think outside of the box and to use your planner supplies in different and fun ways.
