For even more 10th Anniversary fun, we've rounded up ten of our favorite past blog challenges. We've asked our current Creative Team to share their take on these fun challenges, and we hope you'll play along too!
In this challenge from 2013, Kelly Noel challenged you to add circles to your projects. Circles such a basic shape, but they can add a fun energy to your page!
Kelly added photos and a few die-cuts and embellishments to dress up each of the circles on her patterned paper.

And here's Creative Team member Carla's take on this past challenge:
Hello, everyone! Welcome to the Studio Calico Blog! It's Carla here and I'm so excited to share this challenge for the 10th SC Anniversary! ♥ Inspired by the very talented Kelly Noel, I created a shaker dashboard for my planner using some supplies from my past Studio Calico Kits, and I love how it turned out!

I chose a patterned paper from the "Written in the Stars" Scrapbook Kit and then combined my sequins and seed beads matching the colors from my paper and made circle frames for each of my colors. To finish it, I matched some SC embellishments from different kits with the colors I had and added that lovely "today" rubber word from the "Homespun" Documenter Kit as a focal point.

Tips & Tricks:
- To make the circles, I used my Nested Circle Dies, but if you don't have circle dies, you can also trace your shapes with a pencil and then cut them out using your craft knife or your precision scissors.
- Combine the color of your sequins and seed beads with the colors of the paper you choose.
- Reuse acetate from old packages to make your shakers.
- Match your embellishments by color to pop up your layout.
Now it's your turn! We'd love to see your circle designs in the gallery this week! It can be a planner dashboard, card project, scrapbook layout, documenter spread, or any creative idea you'd like to share with us using this circle inspired design. I can't wait to see what you come up with! Thank you so much for playing along!
Let's see how you use circles for a chance to win a $10 GC to the Studio Calico shop! When you complete this challenge, upload it to the member gallery and leave a link to your project in the comments below. See all of our 10th Anniversary challenges here.

What a fun challenge. I Think I ended up using 12 circles, not counting the circle shaped sunglasses in one of the pictures :)
Thankyou for the challenge!

I was inspired to use circles for this challenge by a Summer of Sketches sketch. I also used polka dot paper to add even more circles.

I decided to try Carla's technique and went with one circle to make a shaker Christmas card using leftovers and giving it some glitz at the same time by embossing with gold and white stamped star background and also glittery stars and sequins inside the shaker.
