Sunday Sketch | Carson Riutta

This week our scrapbook sketch is a 12" x 12" layout featuring a diagonal line of circular elements across the page with a photo, title, and journaling in the lower right-hand corner. Our notebook sketch has a title in the lower half of the left page and a full-page photo on the right with scattered heart-shaped embellishments. And our pocket page sketch features a 3" x 4" pocket filled with memorabilia and a 3" x 4" filler card with a stamped element and journaling in the center. Hello, friends! I hope you’re all having a great weekend! I’m happy to be bringing you a little crafty inspiration for your Sunday morning. I decided to work with the scrapbook sketch based on Kelly’s gorgeous “Special” layout.

I just love how she used the circles and the squares in conjunction. For me, it’s often one or the other, so I was excited to make this sketch work! I stayed very true to the sketch, but turned the photos into circles and used one of the fabulous gold embossed quote cards from the Documenter Kit as a focal point next to the journaling.

I kept my colors soft and made the layout pop by adding the black labels and stickers from the "Pen Name" Kit.

I can’t wait to see what you all create with these fantastic sketches. Happy crafting, friends!
