Using the Bookmarked Documenter Kit with Carson Riutta

It’s hard to believe that March is soon coming to a close, but don’t worry, there is still plenty of time to get more creative goodness out of your "Bookmarked" Kits! I’ve been enjoying mixing things up in my Documenter albums lately and one of the best tools I’ve found to that end is to use the monthly add-on themed stamps. This month, I was thrilled to get my hands on the TV stamp and I was inspired to create a page highlighting all of our recent TV favorites.

I used a Design G insert and flipped it on its head again. For some reason, I need that 4" x 6" pocket for my title card. I then searched online for images from our top three shows—one for each of the parties watching. I chose Episodes for myself, Outlander for my husband, and Planet Earth for the kids. There were many more quality shows which I included in the journaling for the page, but for the visuals, I made sure to pick our three absolute favorites.

Once my photos were laid out in the protector, I pulled out my "Bookmarked" Kit and the TV stamp set and I quickly got to work. I love how the lettering on the photos matched so well with the yellow alpha included in the kit. I also love how easy it was to use the stamp set to create a title card and labels for the photos.

I’m excited to create another layout on the backside of this insert with all of our favorite reading material for the past month. I know I have a Studio Calico book-themed add-on stamp in my collection and I’m excited to pull it out and get stamping!

I would love to hear how you’re mixing things up in your Documenter albums, so please comment and share your wonderful ideas. Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Happy crafting, friends!
