Video | Using the Expedition Kits with Pam Baldwin

Tags:

Hi, friends! Pam here, sharing a process video for a scrapbook layout that came together with the "Expedition" Scrapbook and Documenter Kits.

I already created a Documenter page about a recent hiking adventure with my kids, but I had one more photo that didn't make it into my original spread and a whole lot of LOVE for these kits. So I decided to play with some of the pieces I still had on my desk from the Documenter Kit to make a coordinating scrapbook layout. Take a peek at the process video below to see how it came together.

Tips & Tricks:

  • I like mixing pocket pages and scrapbook layouts together in my albums to break things up and tell different parts of the stories. It provides a "resting place" for my eyes when I'm looking through my albums. You might have noticed that I didn't include any journaling on my scrapbook page. I often include a lot of journaling in my projects, but knowing that I had already told the story with journaling in my Documenter spread, I got to take this opportunity to PLAY. :)
  • Consider using your Documenter Kits for projects beyond pocket pages! The journaling cards are fantastic jumping-off points for grid style layouts.
  • I love how the kits coordinate to work together. For this project, even though I started with the Documenter Kit to make a base for my layout, I was happy to be able to mix in embellishments from the Scrapbook Kit.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you have a wonderful day. :)
