Starting as an idea to get scrapbookers out of the aisles and inspired to create, Studio Calico has grown and evolved over our 16+ years as a memory keeping brand. Kit types have come and gone to reflect trends, your interests, and demand in the marketplace. In January 2024, we will be merging our Documenter and Traveler’s Notebook Kits into one kit type. This change lets us bring you a collection of goodies that fit a wider variety of documenting styles and gives you more flexibility to be creative with how you capture your memories.
The biggest change you’ll notice is that we’re swapping out the journal cards for 6x8in papers. One side will have cut-apart journal cards - the same number of cards you’re used to seeing in our Documenter Kits! - and the opposite side will feature 6x8in designs. We’re super excited to be able to provide more versatility in the types of projects that our kits can support. Just add your photos and creativity – we’re excited to see what you can create!
Our NEW Documenter Kits will continue to feature all the fun extras you love - alphabet stickers, chipboard, labels and other cool embellishments like die cuts, plastic shapes, washi tape, and puffy stickers.
We’ve heard your concerns about the quality of the stamps in our kits and will be making the switch back to photopolymer stamps. To accommodate this change, the stamps will no longer be included in the kits. These 3x4in sets will be available in the add-ons each month for just $5.99 - a discount of $5 off their regular price of $10.99. If you add this stamp to your box, it will ship with your kit for no additional shipping fee!
Because “Documenter” is a fitting description, we will use that name for this new kit format. Pricing will remain the same as our current Documenter subscription, starting at just $25.99 a month. If you subscribe to our Documenter Kit, you won't notice any changes to your billing or subscription info. If you currently subscribe to the Traveler’s Notebook kit, the name will change on your order confirmation to "Documenter Kit" and the price will change to the lower Documenter Kit pricing based on your current commitment level.
