I recently found my newest obsession- a new, used, and vintage bookstore- while looking for the perfect book to use for Maggie's class. The employees there probably think I'm a complete nutjob because I was taking pictures and sniffing the books, ha! Does anyone else do that? On second thought, they're probably right about me :)
I love incorporating circles on just about everything I do and this is no exception...I used my trusty JBS blue ribbon punch again for the outer ring, various circle punches, a star punch, and a mini starburst punch for the other rings. Around the photo in the center circle, I used one of the Crate Paper border stickers and made it into a circle by cutting "hinges" or fringe at even intervals on the straight side of the sticker and then wrapped it around the middle circle. To finish it off, I masked a large circle and misted the outside edge of the layout with warm calico and painted the solid white rings with acrylic paint. TFL!
