This was my lift of Amy Tan's layout, Bamboo from the Front Row gallery.
I know she loves her dogs and that what inspired me to do this layout about my own guy who recently passed away.
I wanted to keep the journaling private so I sewed around the photo to create a pocket and added a tab to a PL journaling card . I also added arrows to show that the card can slide out to read.
