Product Spotlight | Specialty Star Paper

The specialty star paper in the "Let's Go" Scrapbook Kit adds a wow-factor to any layout! Whether it's a main element of design or a subtle embellishment, the specialty star paper is a great addition to your next project. Check out all the ways the Creative Team is using specialty star paper in their projects this month.

Jen used the specialty star paper to create a grid design to anchor the bottom of her page, Wonder. By backing the specialty star paper with pink patterned paper, she was able to tie in that color from the top portion of her layout. We love that she sewed each star open, creating interest and texture!

For her layout, Love This, Nancy only opened some of the stars on her specialty paper, leaving others closed. For added interest, she used enamel dots under four of the open stars—what a fun pop of color!

Anna-Maria layered her specialty star paper with several patterned papers to create a foundation for the photo in her layout, Wonder Years (Bali). She folded each star open for texture, allowing some to be like windows to the patterned paper underneath.

In her layout, Magic *Add On Kit, Jamie used the specialty star paper as a border for the top section on her page. By using only a single row of stars, slightly flipped open, she created subtle interest while leading her viewer's eye down the page.

Mandie made the specialty star paper the star of the show on her layout, This *Scrapbook Kit Only*. By backing it with colorful, striped patterned paper, she made sure each star stood out. It's a great foundation for her page. 

Maggie cut apart her specialty star paper and used the individual stars as embellishments on her layout, Mall of America. They perfectly compliment the star in her photo! 

Guest designer, Neela, used a strip of her specialty star paper above the photo on her layout, Love This. Under each star, she layered a different patterned paper, creating a dynamic way to tie in all the colors from her page!
