journaling prompts | Geralyn Sy

Tags:

Hi everyone! Geralyn here today to share a few journaling prompts with you for Project Life. There may be some weeks where you're low on photos to fill your spread, but don't fret. There are lots of ways to fill those extra spaces and here are a few ideas!

(Supplies: kits - Double Scoop Project Life kit, Double Scoop Card kit, Mint Chip add-on, Waffle Cone add-on; Sprinkles add-on; ink - Versafine Onyx black)

1. Throwback Thursday: #throwbackthurssday is a popular hashtag used on Instagram, and it's a fun way to include an old photo in your Project Life! Throwback Thursday doesn't have to be related to things that happened in your specific week and it's a great way to include an old memory. It would be cool to journal about why you chose that particular photo and why that memory came to mind too.

2. Right Now: What are you reading? Watching? Making? This is an easy way to jot down something that's you're doing or enjoying right now. For this pre-made journaling card, I used the giant Pebbles alpha roller stamp from the Double Scoop Project Life kit to stamp all three prompts. When I'm going to use the card, I can mark which one I'm referring to by putting a candy dot beside the word.

3. Love List: One thing I love including in my Project Life is a quick list of things that I love. You can include a journaling card in your PL using this prompt to document things that you currently enjoy, or maybe things that your child/children like(s) right now. Since this list will always be changing, it's would be fun to get it documented and look back on it later on.
