30 days of Thankful | Catherine Davis

Cathy Zielske has set aside November for her Thirty Days of Thankful project, and we've asked some of our Creative Team members to share their take on the project.

I love Cathy's concept and I'm sharing a few peeks into my own 30 Days of Thankful album. Any excuse to express my gratitude for my daughters, I'll take it! I used a Handbook along with cards, paper and embellishments from the December Blue Note Kits to put my pages together.

I added my title in Photoshop and played with all things stars for the opening pages. I tried to pull designs of the stamp stickers that said "little girls".

I knew I wanted to use the fabulous brads on this big image of Maggie but there wasn't much room. In Photoshop, I extended the canvas and voila!

I am obsessed with the veneer deer card. It reminded me of Charlotte and her pig tails we do so often. I colored the veneer with my white Uniball pen and a colored pencil. Worked like a charm.
