#SCCROP14 | Challenge #1

Sometimes I just need a little inspiration to create...and what better to place to head than my Inspiration Book? Here's a layout i created using Geralyn's "Life Right Now" layout and Rockermorsan's "Lovely" layout. I loved the grid in Geralyn's layout and the papers in Rockermorsan's project, so I combined them to make my own version...and I love the result! Now I challenge YOU to create something inspired by a project in your Inspiration Book!

Melanie Louette also took on this challenge - here's what she had to say : I've had Stephanie's layout on my inspiration board for several months. I remember when I first saw it how much I loved the simplicity of the layered photos with the pops of colour. I tried to recreate the same feel on just a single 8x11 page, but the smaller size wasn't as conducive to a lot of photos, and in retrospect, I should have probably printed mine a bit smaller. I had pulled the star paper to use on this layout originally as my background, and decided to use it as a secondary page after laying my photos out on the white cardstock. I love how this beautiful paper plays a big part in the theme of the layout, and I also love the contrast of it against the full page of photos. Super happy about how this ended up, even though it's very different from Stephanie's original layout.
