Sunday Sketch | Shanna

This week, our layout sketch is an 8.5x11 layout with a triangle background design. Our card sketch features a scatter of sequins & our Project Life sketch uses a large arrow and a a grouping of embellishments. Now let's see Shanna's take on our layout sketch:

When I saw the layout from Kelly I was drawn in and inspired. I knew I wanted to work with squares and play with pattern. When I first started pushing the paper around I thought it would be fun to sew a bunch of squares together and flip them up to create this 3-D effect. Once I pulled them over to my layout one square landed as a diamond and the string from sewing them together was dangling below... I immediatly saw a kite.. and the layout quickly came together after that!
