Start to Finish Tutorial | Geralyn Sy

The Penny Arcade Scrapbook Kit contains one of my favorite patterned papers ever – the beautiful hand lettered cities paper. I had used a bit of it on my kit projects, but I knew I wanted to create a new layout that highlights this paper and focuses on my love of travel. I kept my layout simple but this bold patterned paper definitely packs quite a punch. Download the tutorial PDF and let me show you how I put this layout together.

Supplies : Kits - Penny Arcade Scrapbook Kit - patterned paper; Penny Arcade Project Life Kit - wood veneer; Fortune Teller - sticker; Bottle Toss - stamps, alphas; Digital - Penny Arcade cut files by In a Creative Bubble; cardstock - American Crafts; pen - Uni-ball; ink - Versafine

Geralyn, thank you for sharing this. This bold pattern was hard for me to see how it could be used. This is great! It does highlight the paper, BUT your photo actually still shines. Great job.

I love this paper so much for traveling and the like so I scanned it and use it in the digital album I am making for my travels this summer! Love this layout and the watercolor to accent the paper. Great idea!

I love this and will certainly be lifting it, although I have travelled quite a lot but not to a lot of countries on this paper so I may do a go-see-do wish list.
