Digital Die Cut Layout Video | Paige Evans
For this layout I was asked to feature how I use digital die cuts. So I chose the leaf cut files by Hello Forever, and, if you look really closely at The Underground Project Life digital stamps, the bottom left element, it's a leaf. I wanted to make little leaves inside one big leaf and set to work die cutting with my trusty Silhouette Cameo!
Turn the tiny leaf from The Underground Project Life digital stamps into a big leaf and die cut it from white cardstock. While the cardstock is still on the sticky mat, watercolor over it using fall colors and let it dry. Die cut the leaves by Hello Forever from most of the patterned papers in all of THE UNDERGROUND scrapbook kits (THE UNDERGROUND, PICADILLY, NOTTING HILL, and KING'S CROSS). Layer the patterned paper leaves on the floral metallic copper vellum paper found in the main kit. Once the cardstock leaf is dry, adhere it over the patterned paper leaves. Poke holes about 1/4" all the way around the leaf then backstitch through the holes, changing the color of thread where the watercolor changes color. Add a photo on the bottom right corner then tuck and layer stickers under it and on the top left corner. Journal on a sticker and add wood veneer chevron bits. Place an "F" on the top left and finish the title with small white letter stickers around the bottom of the big leaf.

So I've always been in awe of your layouts.... but it was the part when you casually said "an hour of stitching later" that my mind was blown!
