My name is Amie Lamm-Griffin. (user name littlelamm). I am a wife and stay-at-home mom to an almost 3 year old and 2 fat cats. I have severe arthritis that keeps me from doing many of the things I love, but I have found my creative outlet with scrapbooking. I did all kinds of painting, pottery, and scrapbooking in high school, going so far as to cover my walls with pictures and things saved from magazines and events in my life. Although I pursued creative endeavors as a young adult, I didn't have time for painting and scrapbooking. Fast forward a decade, I found Project Life after my son was born and was looking for a way to document his first year. None of the baby's first year albums were my style so I taught myself Photoshop, studied photography and got to work. I found myself dreaming of paper and patterns and started studying graphic design.

Organized chaos would be a good description of my life. I am a Gemini and I can see that split personality in my pages. I love the look of clean pages, but paint and sequins and stitching call to me. I love coffee and historical mysteries and being a mom.

All time favorite past kit or collection:

Camelot for Project Life and Hello Hello for Scrapbooking.

What do you do when your kit comes?

Hide it until I get alone time. If UPS drops it at 7pm a Friday, I am up at 5am Monday morning to finally get to play with it all.

What's your go to technique?

I start my PL in Photoshop. I add digital brushes and borders to photos. I love to mix color and black and white photos in my spreads. For my scrapbook layouts, I also add any brushes or effects to my photos before printing, but I almost always start with a photo.Share your top 5 products :

Vellum, wood veneers, enamel dots and gems, digital brushes, and paints.

Where do you go when your mojo is low?

I leave my projects and go live life. When I come back to my craft room, I look at photos and pull my products I really want to use. If all else fails, I look at the SC gallery and Instagram.

Thank you for letting us spotlight you, Amie! We loved getting to know more about you! If you'd like to see more of Amie's work, be sure to follow her here at SC, on her blog and on Instagram!
