Fast and Easy Scrapbook Layout | Jamie Waters

I then matted my two photos side by side on the pink paper. While contemplating embellishments, I thought I was going to use the diamonds so I placed them near the title. I also added a vellum gold dot strip and the glasses patterned paper under the photo mat.

I love die cuts so much, but for this page, the colors and feel weren't matching my moody page. I liked the shape of this one for a subtitle, so I flipped it over and stamped stars randomly to mask the die cut being so white. Next, I practiced a few times on my scratch paper to make sure my letters and pen choice were accurate.

I usually have a very hard time with images of actual things. Like this moon. I love seeing them on other people's layouts but they always seem to stump me! I found a heart die cut (in my color scheme!) in the die cut pack and put it on top of the moon. I then added a yellow strip of patterned paper for a little color pop.

At this point in the process, I thought, "I am committing now!" Well, at least to the rub-ons. I knew I could still turn back on the stamped letters as they weren't down entirely.

I ended up committing to the stamped GETAWAY letters but not the diamonds. In the end, I stamped some of the hot air balloons and pop -dotted them instead.

I added some enamel dots, a patterned paper corner, and hand written journaling, and done! :)
