Sunday Sketch | Ginny

Tags:

This week, our layout sketch is an 8.5x11 layout with a square photo and centered design. Our card sketch features a half circle and stamped sentiment and our Project Life sketch uses a large caption and two rows of embellishments. Creative Team member, Ginny Hughes, is joining us this week & sharing her take on our scrapbook sketch! Be sure to follow Ginny here at SC to see more of her work and keep up with her.

First, let's look at this week's sketches - our 8.5x11 sketch comes from Celine Navarro's Make Your Dreams Come True layout:

Our card sketch comes from Jenn Picard's You're My Person card:

And our Project Life sketch comes from Catherine Davis' This Girl spread:

And here's Ginny's take on our scrapbook sketch:

I am really excited to be here for my first Sunday Sketch! I chose to work from the scrapbook sketch based on Celine’s layout. I stuck really close to the sketch, I mean don’t mess with perfection right? I have a series of photos of my youngest daughter on her all too often sleepless nights. The moon vellum sticky note was the perfect embellishment to add to the theme of the page. I chose 3 of the little stamps from the Far Far Away main Scrapbook kit to add next to the journaling, the star, the moon, & the sun, another fun touch to further the theme.

Supplies: Kits - Far Far Away Scrapbook kit, Ivy Tower, Wishing Star, Magic Carpet; Ink - Color Theory Ink Pad (Deja Blue), Colorbox Mini Metallic Pigment Inkpad (Gold); other - Tiny Attacher
