This week, our layout sketch is an 8.5x11 layout with vertical photos and a large accent. Our card sketch features fun diagonal design and simple sentiment and our Project Life sketch uses two 3x4 journaling cards - one photo and one large title. Get creative and be sure to share your projects here with us! We can't wait to see what you create! Creative Team member, Kelly Noelfollow Kelly here at SC

Our 8.5x11 layout sketch comes from Ginny Hughes' Mud layout:

Our card sketch comes from Keisha Campbell's Hip Hip Hooray card:

Our Project Life sketch comes from Maggie Massey's Project Life® spread:

I always love working with sketches! They are such a great jumping off point for choosing a color scheme or design. For this layout, I was really inspired by the way Keisha used the patterned paper on her card. The angles really add a fun and different look. I recreated a similar look on my layout, just on a larger scale. I love the bold red patterned paper from the Carolina Moon main scrapbook kit paired with the more subtle text paper. For a masculine look, I paired the red and cream with the black title and copper accents.

Supplies: Kits - Carolina Moon Scrapbook kit, Dean add-on kit, Frank add-on kit, Carolina Moon Project Life kit
