Weekly Challenge | Stamps and Transparent Pieces

Hello, everyone! I’m excited to be here sharing this week’s challenge. My scrapbook page, “Life with Hazel is a Circus,” could serve as a springboard for a few different challenges, so feel free to choose the one that sounds like the most fun to you. What came to mind first for me was the challenge of stamping on kraft cardstock. Black ink or white embossing really pop on kraft, while colors look muted and vintage, and I enjoyed creating the title work of this layout by stamping in both black and color. The challenge I was responding to was to use three alphabet stamps, so that’s another possibility. If you’re not a stamper, your challenge could be to use the delightful transparent shapes in the Fairground kit. The circus analogy was perfect for me because my young corgi is such a character, brimming with playful energy.
