Crop Challenge | Stamped Title with Jen

Hi, everyone! My challenge for you today is to create a layout with a stamped title. For this page, I started with a white background and added patterned paper and embellishments from the Confidant main scrapbook kit. I then used the Sydney 6" x 8" alphabet stamp to create a title.

Here's a tip when creating stamped titles—use a ruler and draw a faint pencil line to stamp your title on. After the ink is dry, carefully erase the pencil marks. In addition, it's often easiest to start from the edge of the page and stamp your letters, rather than the middle. This way you'll have enough room for each word.

I hope you'll take on this challenge, and I can't wait to see what you create! When you complete this challenge, upload it to the member gallery and leave a link to your project in the comments below. See ALL of the crop challenges here.

Stamping large alphas might be the scariest thing I do today. But it's over.

Thanks for the challenge, Jen! I've needed a reason to pull out all those stamp set I have that are just collecting dust!

Here's my project stamping my title. I didn't realize until I had photographed it that one of the letters didn't stamp fully, it's a lot harder than it looks.

Stamped a title using three different stamp sets. I hardly ever use my stamps, but this was so fun! Have to use them more in the future. Thanks for the challenge and for the tip on how to stamp a title.

Here is my entry - I used stamping in the title. This is the first layout I've put together in about 3 or 4 years. It's going to take a little while to get my real creative flair back I think.

Used A Beautiful Mess large alpha stamp for the title -- a little tricky stamping on a circle. http://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/200114-stamped-title-for-crop-challenge

I loved jen's layout....I lifted it using bits and pieces from 3 kits and one 4x6 paper pad. I am really loving mixing kits lately.

clearly i need to invest in a good stamp alpha ... this was a super old set of typed letters - they are rather tiny so i repeated my title a few times to fill it up and give it a bigger impact on the page. thanks for the fun challenge.
