Using the Written in the Stars Scrapbook Kit with Maggie Massey

Tags:

Hey hey there! Happy Friday! Maggie here today with a project I created using a few of the supplies from the Written in the Stars Main Kit, Starry Night add-on and My Family stamp set.

Sometimes I'm in the mood to scrap, but I'm really not sure where to start. I have some photos I could work with, but I'm really not inspired by them—you know this feeling? That's when I turn to my kits for inspiration.

When I sat down to make this page I started by sorting out all of the elements in my kits, and as soon as I began going through the Simple Stories die-cuts in Starry Night an idea came to me. Why not create a page about me right now? I set aside a number of the die-cuts I thought would be good for my page, and then I went through the rest of the kits and picked out the pieces I thought would work.

I snapped a few selfies, printed them out, and got started.

I arranged my photos in a simple grid and then added the embellishments (and a few stamps!) around them keeping everything fairly simple. I'm really happy with how everything turned out!

Next time you're itching to create but you're just not sure where to start, let your kits guide you!

Thanks so much for taking a look! And have a great weekend making memories!
