Our Layout of the Week, 3 Sisters, comes from our member Kathy (username pinksoup). We love how Kathy created layered florals as a base for her photo and used a sketch from Summer of Sketches 2017 to inspire her design. To keep up with Kathy and see more of her work, be sure to follow her here at SC.

Here's what Kathy has to say about her project:

This layout came together with a sketch from the Summer of Sketches 2017 class which enabled me to make it in record time. The challenge to create a "frilly/frufru" project was from WhamBamPam's 6/16/17 post. The photo was a favorite since my three sports oriented girls are rarely seen dressed up and in full makeup. The floral ephemera from Maggie Holmes complimented the photo with mostly pink flowers and a few orange and gray ones to match the photo. I arranged them on a bed of orange and white doilies with Bazzill's dotted swiss embossed cardstock as a base. A sprinkle of gold sequins completed the look. Thanks to those who added this to their inspiration books!
