Here's my take on the scrapbook sketch: https://www.studiocalico.com/galleries/202989-birthday

This is a nice sketch to work with. I only had 2 photos to scrap, so I pulled out 2 journaling cards to make up 4 boxes. As I'm working on a 12x12, there isn't a lot of space left above the boxes once I centered them, so I pulled the title down to the top journaling card, leaving the other one for actual journaling. I didn't want to add word strips to my layout (I didn't have any too), so I just took some patterned paper strips and washi tapes to imitate the title strips on the bottom right corner. I also flipped the embellishment clusters on the side so that they can be lined with the placement of my photos and I make some speech bubbles labels for that.
