Using the Been & Gone Scrapbook Kit with Anna-Maria Wolniak

A good theme for today's post would be "when you are in love with triangles and chevrons but have no idea how to use them on a layout!"

In the main Been and Gone Scrapbook Kit this month, we got a spectacular, colorful patterned paper featuring chevron. When you use this kind of pattern, you can be sure it gives a dynamic element to your composition. It's not always easy to use so many colors in a dynamic layout.

In this project, I used a triangle shape and covered it with a photo in the same color scheme as the dominant color in the chevron pattern. I also added a layer under the photo made with gray, neutral patterned paper and a piece of vellum. This gave me a possibility to embellish this part of the layout with flowers. To balance the triangle part, I made a title using alpha stamps and a piece of sticker in the same colors.
