Sunday Sketch | Carson Riutta

This week our scrapbook sketch is an 8.5" x 11" layout featuring rectangular elements lined up down the center of the page, with a photo in the bottom half. Our card sketch has central element layered over strips with a title in the upper left-hand corner. And our pocket page sketch features a 3" x 4" title card with embellishment and a 3" x 4" photo card. And here's Carson's take on our card sketch:

I used the star pattern building stamp from the Doodles add-on stamp set to begin the layered stripe behind the die-cut. I then layered a few matching patterned papers and some colorful ribbon and twine to make the card pop! The sentiment stamps from the Doodles stamp set went beautifully with the die-cut phrase and I simply finished the card off with a few of the puffy asterisks in coordinating colors. This was a fun and easy card to put together and I can’t wait to send it to a good friend!
