Blog: Using the Silver Lake Lodge Kits with Carla De

Hello, everyone and welcome to the SC blog! It's Carla here and today I'm sharing a quick and easy planner spread using my "Silver Lake Lodge" Kits.

One of my favorite things to do when using my supplies is to stretch the items I have as much as I can! For this spread, I've used a packaging cardstock that came with the mini ABC stickers from Pretty Little Studio in the "Summer Camp" Add-on Kit to make a tag to house "make memories" at the beginning of my week and a couple of embellishments to add some chores. I added some doodling lines using my black gel pen on top of them.

I also used the adorable little stamps from the Summer Holiday Stamp Set by In A Creative Bubble and the Circle Label Stamp Set by Hello Forever to add some things we've planned for the week and a mini list for some to-dos.

I've used the lined strips from the top of the alpha sticker sheets from the Planner and Documenter Kits to add color to my pages. And I used the number stickers from the pink sticker sheet to add 28—simply to highlight this Friday as we'll be celebrating our "Fiestas Patrias," or Independence Day!

Finally, I added a couple of photos for the plans we have to visit the zoo at the beginning of the week and our weekend away to a country club in Chosica. One of my kids' favorite things to see at the zoo are the felines, so I included a photo of a tiger we saw the last time we went to the Parque de las Leyendas a couple of months ago. I've also added a photo of the ducks we fed at the lake at the club last month. I love to add some photos for inspiration and to remind myself of the beautiful things in my life.
