Video | Using the Expedition Scrapbook Kit with Kelly Noel

Hello, SC friends! I'm happy to be here sharing my process for creating this layout using one of my favorite Studio Calico kits ever! I love the adventure vibe and the colors and patterns are all so much fun. I knew I wanted to use some of the patterned papers together and was inspired by the grid design of the background paper to add little bits of various papers to create an interesting background.

Tips & Tricks:

• Let your background paper inspire your design. Those sections of the grid pattern were begging to be filled with patterned paper!
• Scatter the color around the page. Imagine the color in a visual triangle around the page.
• This is a great design to use up your leftover scraps! Since the background has a pattern, the little scraps of other patterns were plenty to make this page pop!
