Sunday Sketch

This week our scrapbook sketch is a 12" x 12" layout featuring a square photo over lots of layers in the center of the page, a title below, and large stars scattered throughout the background. Our notebook sketch showcases a full-page photo on the left page with star shapes across the top of the spread and heavy journaling on the right page. And our pocket page sketch features a 3" x 4" quote card with stitched embellishments and a 3" x 4" photo.

Our scrapbook sketch comes from Stephanie Bryan's Dream layout:

Our notebook sketch comes from Pam Baldwin's Starlight spread:

And our pocket page sketch comes from Nathalie Leonelli's November 6x12 Pocket Pages spread:

Well this is more sad news from SC. I expect the next announcement will come soon that you're closing up shop. SC never did get what their customers wanted it seems. Here's to enjoying my kits while I can.

Will you leave the blog up so that we can still search old posts?

I've enjoyed the blog and the challenges. I'm disappointed to see it go.

Talk about irony. I didn't read this announcement until just now, as I'm posting the last layout to a sketch challenge on the blog. My layout is titled "The Last Time." A sad irony. Bye, friends. I rarely use Instagram, and I don't post layouts there. When retailers post on Instagram, I call it an ad. Not a community. Not really inspiration.

I love the sketches, even if i do not publish so much, because of the people on the photoes. Anyways, sketches makes me craft and feel I am part of an international community. I wish they continue, on Instagram.
Her is my take on the TN sketch:

I am saddened by this news, too. I used the scrapbook sketch to inspire my card:
