Blog: Using the Lost River Scrapbook Kit with

Hi there, guys! I have a challenge for you. As a proposition for today, I prepared a color palette. I found an amazing picture of my dear friend from her last trip to Gili Islands in Bali. I was surprised to see that the autumn colors found in the Lost River kit were perfect to frame this photo! Below you can find the color palette I decided on:

I would like you to be inspired by these shades during your work on your next layout, Documenter spread or card. I selected a mix of pastel beige and grey-blue with typical autumn shades of yellow and warm brown. You'll find all of these colors in the September Lost River kits, but I'm also sure that you have a lot of supplies in this palette inside your drawers, so you can start your work now.

I found an ocher yellow shade, warm navy and cyan blue among the scrapbook goodies from the main and add-on kits, and I made this layout. I decided to combine a grid composition using many details. Some rectangles are cut from the kits' papers while others are made using stamps. Some squares of the grid are also embellished with this month's stamp sets.
