Sunday Sketch | Lisa Truesdell

This week our scrapbook sketch is a 12" x 12" layout featuring a grid background under a centered photo with an off-set title. Our card sketch has a stamped pattern with a centered title. And our pocket page sketch features a 3" x 4" embellished card with sentiment and 3" x 4" journaling card. Hey everyone! Happy Sunday! This week's documenter sketch was the perfect starting point for a spread in my Traveler's Notebook. I was drawn to the scattered stars in the sketch, but wanted to add a bit more to my page. I started by using one of the phrase stamps from the Alfresco Scrapbook kit, and stamped it repeatedly on the page - mostly in Clean Slate Ink, but with one bright image in Flamingo. From there, I layered vellum stars in to mimic the sketch. I opted to keep the right side of my spread nice and clean - just a photo with a small embellishment grouping - to let my photo shine.
