Summertime in our household takes on a slower pace, so heavily detailed planning isn't necessary. But an overview of our "big ticket items" IS. I have to be careful that I don't miss the few appointments I have scheduled because I'm out in my garden pulling weeds. ;) Since I'm 10 times more likely to be OUTSIDE than inside on a June day, I took the opportunity to do the bulk of my planning in one fell swoop, all before the month even started.

Tips & Tricks:  

• Use sticky notes to get a head start on planning while you're waiting for your kit to arrive.
• You can use any straight-edged surface to trim your washi...even your SC ink pads! No scissors necessary.  
• Layer the label stickers over the kit stickers for a colorful, unique spot that accepts any type of pen you're using. 
• Consider planning your summer months ahead of time so you can be out, maximizing time in the sunshine or with your family and friends.
