Choose Your Plan. Not sure which plan you'd like? You've got plenty of time to decide. Once you make your decision, simply open up a conversation with our Customer Service team once the new site launches and they will help you. All subscribers with a remaining commitment will have their cancellation fee waived provided they are selecting one of our new plans. Cancellation Policy

If you have a month-to-month subscription and request to cancel after the 25th of the month, there will be a $15 cancellation fee. For subscriptions with a six month or twelve month commitment, you will be charged 50% of your remaining commitment at the time of cancellation. Six month and twelve month subscriptions will not incur an additional $15 cancellation fee if they are cancelled after the 25th of the month.
Update - A response to your questions from our CEO, April Foster:
Late last year and early this year, we took a hard look at how to make sure we could maintain price stability while still providing inspiration, education, and high quality products. We needed to make sure we didn't have money spent on wasted inventory which most certainly would result in price increases which we haven't done in 8 years and we didn't want to start doing now.
Instead, we chose to be better predictors of inventory which means a requiring a commitment from our customers. By accurately predicting quantities, we would not need to raise prices, which after listening to our customers and focus groups, we determined was the correct course of action.
As always, we will continue to reward our customers, especially the most loyal. We wouldn't be here without you! Our current practice is to ship rewards orders on the first day of shipping, and we have not discussed changing that benefit. However, we are constantly reviewing our perks and trying to improve them, and we have been collecting information from our customers on what's important to you as a rewards member. We're in the early stages of analysis there, but do plan to make a change later this year or early next year so we can change as your needs change and as our offering grows.
I understand the concern about canceling with a penalty. If an emergency arises, please let our CS team know and they will work with you as they have in the past. We are real people here with compassion and big hearts and want to always do what's right for you.
Especially for internationals, we couldn't sustain the current model considering shipping costs and excess inventory. In exchange for your commitment, we are giving you the least expensive price, along with 6 months to think about what's the best option for you.
In closing, for those currently subscribing, you have 6 months to enjoy all the benefits you are used to, but at the lowest price. That gives you time to understand how these changes have affected you, your buying habits, and make a decision on whether to stay at the month-to-month price or make a larger commitment.

I'm not sure what to say. I sub to three kits, purchased additional items to get to free shipping. Now I'm going to have to pay $15 more a month and then decide if I need to pay additional for shipping so that my kit does not come by USPS as that takes about 5 more days to reach me.

I saved money to finally be able to afford a subscribtion for 6 months. It is a lot of money for me, but decided it would be fun to try. However with these new rates it will actually be more expensive for me. Just a little bit more every month, but I must admit I am a bit disappointed!

how is this better for the customers who have REGULARLY gotten free shipping MONTH and MONTH? Your increasing the prices (but telling us it's included shipping) but most of us DIDN"T pay for shipping to BEGIN with.
Also - I normally order more than 4 kits every month - I'll now have to pay for shipping? How does this work? How will this work when you have a kit sale or a stamp sale? We wont get free shipping over $79?
Seems like this is benefiting you more, and not the customers and seems like it's benefiting the over seas shippers.
If this is the case, I will be CUTTING WAY BACK, on my buying, I buy a lot during reveal to get the free shipping.

I agree. I would love to understand how this is a better value? my PL subscription costs me $19.99 a month now and it's going to $25.99? What exactly are you doing for your customers in the name of value? This company is becoming more and more of a racket. How do you intend to build loyalty based on deception? You are becoming a joke Studio Calico. You think you have a captive audience but there are a great many of other kit subscriptions these days. Wake up.

Above it says to cancel by the 25th - currently you have to cancel by the 20th? Which date is it and is SC going to answer these questions in time for the 20th?

I agree with all of the above. I don't think this is a good deal, or fair to your current subscribers. I'm seriously thinking of cancelling altogether.

For those of us who have saved up to purchase a subscription this new plan is really a downer; we must either subscribe again at the end of our commitment or start paying extra. I think this plan may drive people away.

If I order addons and thematic cards set and paper pad (as I usually do) now I will have to pay "28.99 PLUS shipping based on weight" instead of "19.99 plus shipping based on weight" as I'm paying now?

It's not better. My new 12 month project life subscription goes up 30% for every month - $6. I already got free shipping before. There are no benefits here to anyone but the company. It's a scam to raise prices. Nothing more.

Disappointing for sure- was hoping to finish out the year but who knows now depending on the timing of all of this. There are some really great subscriptions popping up with other companies, may be time to shop around. :-/ Don't care to have a price raise mid-year. Why not just roll out for new subscribers?
